Meet Louis Jones - Chartered Physiotherapist now in Lancing.

As one of the leading sports physiotherapists in Lancing (and indeed the south-east) Louis Jones is evolving the concept of body health to one of holistic wellbeing. His mission is not just to treat injuries once they occur, but to inspire people to maintain and improve their overall fitness, thereby preventing damage in the first place.
Through his brand new private practice in the heart of Lancing, opposite the county FA headquarters, Louis treats sporting injuries and provides effective pain relief through both targeted physiotherapy and acupuncture. His vision is to expand into a holistic practice that encompasses all aspects of health, to inspire change and promote better living.

Contact Louis

Louis’ passion for sports and fitness began at an early age – at just 12 years old he was competing at national level in track and field athletics, cross country and road running and was playing football at Sunday league level. During this time he developed his first sporting injury, which led him to Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club physio, Malcolm Stuart at the Goldstone Ground. This early experience ignited an interest in Louis about not just the enjoyment and competitive side of sport, but about the impact that sports could have on your body. Ultimately, this is what inspired his career in treating and preventing sports injuries, and his dream to work as a physiotherapist in professional sport.
Louis trained at University of Brighton and in 2001 he qualified with a BSc Honours degree. He joined Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club in 2002, working with both the 1st team and Reserve team. In 2005 Louis left his role to pursue his main passion, running. He travelled to Colorado to undertake intensive high-altitude training and in 2008 he won National Gold Team medals at both Half Marathon distance and in the National 12-stage Road Relay Championships for Newham & Essex Beagles, alongside none other than Olympic Gold Medalist, Mo Farah.
Louis’ sporting experience eventually led him back to Shoreham, where after working in two private practices, he established his own business, Louis Jones Physiotherapy, in 2011. His mission is to build a holistic practice that encompasses all aspects of health and that inspires change and promotes better living. Eventually, thousands of miles of running, took its toll on Louis' body and his running career was put on hold. Being passionate about fitness, Louis turned his attention to cycling and in 2016, he completed Europes longest Sportive, completing 312Km around the beautiful island of Mallorca. Most recently, in 2019, Louis has swapped his running shoes for a Gi and belt, and has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
